Welcome to Pineview Estates
Located only ten minutes from downtown Flint, Genesee offers all the advantages of suburban living in a country setting. Built by Tom Joubran in the early 80’s, Pineview was developed with 1011 fully finished lots. The front part of the park closest to Genesee Road is set aside for senior citizens. Many of the homes were new in the mid 90’s as Tom and his son in law David Karpelenia sold home from a sales lot at the corner of Genesee and Mt. Morris roads. The park is well maintained by the residents and a crew of maintenance and security personnel from the park office work to keep it that way.
There are two main entrances into Pineview Estates, one off Genesee Road just north of Coldwater Road and an entrance off Coldwater Road just east of Genesee Road. The quickest access to a major highway is about four miles west on Carpenter Road to I-475, from there you can take I-475 “North” which really curves west into I-75 just north of Flint Township, or you can go south on I-475 to I-69 or on down to Grand Blanc.
In the community of Genesee you will find plenty of shopping and entertainment. Shamrocks Tavern offers great food and drink specials and an outside patio, even volleyball. Next to Shamrocks is Lucky’s Poker Room and Lucky’s Bingo Hall for those that want to have a little fun with cards, dice or bingo and help local charities raise some cash. Need to entertain your children? Huckleberry Junction Playhouse Theater offers hundreds of games, prizes and even an animated show with Daniel and the Dixie Diggers. Want to shop in Genesee? Two dollar stores, a clothing store and VG’s Food Center offer all the essentials. With about a dozen restaurants you will be able to enjoy a variety of food.
